Grades 1-8 use the Finding God series from Loyola Press as the basis for the curriculum. In addition to reading from the textbook during each class, children experience the content through hands on activities that make the lessons come to life. Lessons include:

• Crafts
• Food
• Simulations
• Games
• Music
• Videos

Each lesson is designed to be fun and interactive while teaching a truth of the Catholic faith. Fees for the program purchase the supplies needed for these engaging lessons each week.

Faith Formation classes at Our Lady of the Lakes, Spicer:
Grades 1-6 meet 3:15-4:30 pm on Wednesdays
Grades 7-11 meet 7:00-8:15 pm on Wednesdays

Faith Formation classes at St. Mary, Willmar:
Grades 1-6 meet 5:30-6:45 pm on Wednesday
Grades 7-11 meet 7:00-8:15 pm on Wednesday 

Faith Formation classes at St. Clara, Clara City: 
Grades 1-8 meet 9:30-10:45 am on Sunday
Grades 9-11 meet 7:00-8:15 pm on Wednesday

​Parent and Youth Sessions
Each grade level provides two opportunities for parents and youth to grow in their faith together, called Parent and Youth Sessions (PAY) with each child in Faith Formation.   PAY sessions are on Wednesdays during regular class time or during a longer window of time (to allow for parents/guardians’ work schedules). Watch your e-mail for further information about each grade's PAY sessions, or click here for more information.

Attendance for Faith Formation
Faith Formation is a gradual, life-long process.  The basic truths of our faith are presented in concrete ways that are built upon week by week. Therefore, it is very important for children to attend each week. Parents/guardians need to call and excuse a child if he/she will be absent.  Keeping everyone safe is important to us!
