Small Group / Faith Sharing

Do you ever wish you had someone to talk with about God, the Church, or how to live out the Gospel message? Small groups enable the building of a small community of believers who share, discuss, and even debate their faith. 

Some groups are already established and not taking new members. The ones listed below are open to new members. Please call the office for contact information. If you are interested in starting a new group, call the office and we will publish the information in the bulletin and here on the website for other interested people.

​Divine Mercy Cenacle - S

• This group meets monthly, the second Thursday of the month at 7:30 pm for music (cd), prayer, and discussion on Scripture, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and the writings of St. Maria Faustina, as a small Christian community.

Mom's Bible Study - W

• ​This group meets weekly during the school year on Wednesdays at 8:30 am, for prayer and to break open the Sunday readings using the book, Living the Word.

Small Christian Community - S/W

• These groups break open the Sunday readings using the book, At Home with the Word. There are several groups meeting in the area faith community on different days of the week and at different times.

Social Justice Team - S/W

• This group meets monthly on the second Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm. The meetings alternate between Spicer and Willmer. The AFC Social Justice Team seeks to integrate Catholic Social Teaching into daily practice to serve those who are marginalized. Meetings are open to all interested, and attendance does not obligate commitment to anything.
